A giant rat and a tiny possum have recently been discovered by American and Indonesian scientists which are believed to be a newly found species. The rat and a tiny possum, described as one of the world's smallest marsupials, were found in Indonesia's Foja Mountain, Conservation International said on Monday,

"The giant rat is about five times the size of a typical city rat," said Kristofer Helgen, a scientist with the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, according to CI's press release. "With no fear of humans, it apparently came into the camp several times during the trip."-National Geographic
