3 Giant Pandas reported missing after China Earthquake

A massive earthquake with a magnitude of 8.0M/7.9M hit Sichuan on 12 May 2008 and the result was devastating, with an estimated number of more than 32,000 casualties and it is still expected to rise, according to Beijing official. The earthquake also affected the Wolong Panda Preserve facility located there. Until today, Beijing has reported that 3 giany pandas are missing and 5 staff members were killed. The other 60 giant pandas in the reserve are safe but the quake destroyed or severely damaged all 32 of the reserve's panda houses.
