Bad jokes and chinese cookies are some of the standard in the average Christmas Cracker. While sharing Christmas Cracker with her family after Christmas dinner, Betty Lawrence discovered a dead and decaying mouse in one of the crackers, according to the Southland Times newspaper.
"I had said to my granddaughter, "What's that smell? and we couldn't work it out until we pulled out that cracker," Lawrence said.
